As president, Hillary Clinton will improve America by helping with finance problems. Donald Trump said that he would ensure the right for anyone to own a gun in the United States. Hillary Clinton wants to make a safer environment for America. America should vote for Hillary Clinton.
As president, Hillary Clinton will improve America by helping with finance problems. According to Politicians: Hillary Clinton, “On her campaign site, Clinton discusses a wide variety of issues she believes in, which includes lowering student debt, criminal justice reform, campaign finance reform, improving the health care coverage and costs of the Affordable Care Act, also called Obamacare, and women's rights (2016).” Hillary Clinton talks about many issues that are important to her on her campaign site. These issues include lowering the amount of money that students owe to colleges, changing the criminal justice system, and making healthcare affordable and expanding healthcare systems. Lowering student debt will allow more people to afford college for their kids, while changing the criminal justice system will make America safer. Along with making college more affordable, Hillary Clinton wants to make healthcare affordable, too. As soon as she makes healthcare affordable it will solve many finance and health problems, and she would also like to make a finance reform. With the finance reform she will be solving many finance problems all around America. Hillary Clinton also wants to enforce women’s rights, which means making sure the pay is equal to men and women for every job, and to break any barriers holding women back. With all these things she would be doing she would be making America great. Solving finance problems would increase the number of jobs around the world, which means that there would be less unemployed people. With less unemployed people our economy could grow and improve. Since Hillary Clinton would be helping people with finances and with health care she would be a great leader for our country. Donald Trump said that he would ensure the right for anyone to own a gun in the United States. According to Trump Accepts NRA Endorsement Despite Past Views on Guns "Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed,’ Trump wrote in a book in 2000, but according to Hillary Clinton on Gun Control, Hillary Clinton said, “We must expand background checks for gun shows and online sales, and close the current loophole that negates the need for a background check after a 3-day waiting period. I will also repeal legislation that shields gun manufacturers, distributors and dealers from liability suits, even in cases of mass shootings.” Although Donald Trump says that encouraging the second amendment to own assault weapons could save many people’s lives, Hillary Clinton states that this means anyone could have a gun at anytime. While many people assume that Hillary Clinton is going to take away their guns, the truth is she just wants to make stronger gun control laws to prevent criminal and mentally ill people from having guns. Hillary Clinton also says that in a situation when someone is injured or killed with a gun they can sue the manufacturer of that gun. Not only could these manufacturers go out of business but they will most likely agree on having stricter background checks when buying a gun. Hillary Clinton wants to make a safer environment for America. According to Clinton and Trump Tangle in Their First Presidential Debate, “She's called for expanding Obama's executive orders if Congress won't pass laws to overhaul the nation's immigration system and for stronger gun control laws.” Also according to Clinton and Trump Share views on Overlooked Science Issues, Hillary Clinton said, “My plan will deliver on the promise that President Obama made at the Paris climate conference. We need to create laws about pollution. This will clean our air, save families money and fight climate change. We should ensure that we are making fossil fuels in a safe and responsible way. We should put money toward creating energy sources that are not fossil fuels.” Hillary Clinton wants to have stricter gun control laws, improve women’s rights, prevent pollution, fight climate change, save families money, and create energy sources that don’t cause pollution. If Hillary becomes president not only will she make the environment safer, but she will also make the environment healthier. She will make women’s pay equal to a man’s pay, and stop women from being held back by social and legal barriers. Although some people may not be happy with the things she is going to do, she is making America better. With stricter gun control laws, citizens will be safer, while using less fossil fuels and more ecosystem friendly energy sources will prevent pollution which will also make a big difference in American’s health. Hillary Clinton states that she plans on improving women’s rights, which will win many votes from women because this is a widespread problem, and with improving women’s rights women’s pay would be equal to a man’s pay which will help women in finances. Along with finances she plans to make healthcare affordable, help families with money so they can send their children to college, and since she plans on making America use more energy sources that don’t cause pollution, energy sources will be cheaper. Overall, America should vote for Hillary Clinton. Although she may have some bad points, she could really improve health in America, and the safeness of the environment. By making stricter gun laws she will keep guns out of the criminals hands and mentally ill’s hands. She will improve health care and make it affordable, donate money to families that can’t afford to send their children to college, and to improve and enforce women’s rights. I support not having soda taxes because some people drink soda responsibly. Some people that do drink sugary drinks are obese, but others may drink a sugary drink every now and then and are healthy. Not only is it unfair for the responsible people to pay more, but since the price is going up on soda the demand will decrease. This will cause small businesses to have less of an income. I can support this because in the article the author writes, "They claim this will hurt small businesses and customers struggling to survive in one of the country's most expensive places." There are some bad points to not having a soda tax, and that is obesity, tooth decay, and obesity. If we do have a soda tax it may solve a big issue, but it could create a whole new one. In the article the author states, "Diabetes is a disease that makes it difficult for the body to regulate its blood-sugar. Experts say that obesity, or being extremely overweight, which is one factor that causes diabetes." Although this is great, there is still going to be an obesity problem. Yes, the percentage of people with diabetes and obesity may go down, but we will always have that problem as long as we have this big of a food supply. Overall I think even if we do approve soda tax there will still be a problem with obesity, and health issues, and that not all people that drink soda have health problems. This is why I support the party that is against soda tax.
What is ScreenFlow? ScreenFlow is an application on your computer where you can record with the built in camera on your computer, record your actions on your computer screen, record sound, and edit afterwards. If you make a mistake you can easily split and delete it and add a transition. You can also add annotations, call outs, scales, transitions, and text boxes. My tutorial and the important parts of my video. For my tutorial I used multiple tools and techniques to show how to use the basic things in ScreenFlow. Some tools I used include scaling, splitting clips, transitioning, call outs, annotations, and text boxes for typing. Some techniques I used were not on the ScreenFlow application for example I listed the things I need to talk about, focused on not making each part too long, and made sure I was speaking clearly and loudly. I think the most important parts of my video are when I demonstrated how to export a video and what the settings should be because without knowing how to export you couldn't share your video. How might SreenFlow be useful in my future? The application ScreenFlow might be useful in my future because there world is just going to get more and more technological, this meaning that our daily lives will have more computers and applications to use. Throughout school I might have teacher that needs to record a lesson but they don't know how to do it, and if I know how to use ScreenFlow I can help them with it. As I said before, the world will just get more high tech so you're going to have to know how to this stuff some day. When I get older I'm, of course, going to have to get a job, and many of the jobs will involve having to be able to work with computers. Because I'm learning to use this kind of equipment it will be a major advantage for me later in school and my life. |
